In 2018, I faced a turning point in my life. I had to choose between ignoring the signals my body and mind were giving me or taking full responsibility for my health, emotions, and decisions. Years of suppressing my feelings and living by societal mandates had led to an autoimmune disease—a wake-up call I couldn’t ignore.
That’s when I turned to handwriting. Through journaling and mindful calligraphy practices, I began to give form to my thoughts and feelings. Writing by hand became my tool for healing, reflection, and clarity—a way to rediscover who I was and what I wanted out of life.
Walnut.Ink was born from that journey. It’s my way of helping others reconnect with themselves, take control of their stories, and create the intentional, purposeful lives we all deserve.
